Dissemination workshop: SESI/UNICAMP
In partnership with theSESI Limeira, teachers Adriana Torsoni and Fúlvia Gobatto welcomed elementary school students for in-person activities at FCA/Unicamp in March 2023.
Under the supervision of professors, CNEM postgraduate students held workshops on metabolic and lifestyle aspects related to chronic non-communicable diseases.
This proposal was a partnership between Labdime, through the MPPM Center with theLAFAE, Laboratory of Physiology Applied to Sport, at FCA-UNICAMP. It was an afternoon of lots of interaction and learning, which is captured in the clicks below! Check out!
Health assessments: Limeira City Hall/UNICAMP
In partnership with theLimeira City Hall, professors Adriana Torsoni, Letícia Souza and Marciane Milanski carried out between the 2nd and 6th of October/2023, a health assessment of municipal employees together with students from the Sports Science Course and researchers from theLabdime from FCA/Unicamp.
This is an action that has been taking place in partnership since 2018 and, this year, it included the participation of undergraduates from the Biochemistry discipline (as who were able to see in practice the evaluation of components of the volunteers' lipid profile. Body weight measurements were taken , height, waist circumference, blood pressure, blood glucose, triglycerides and total cholesterol.
In addition, lectures were held on healthy eating and the fight against Diabetes and Hypertension.
